Farm equipment failures can stop work at the worst time. K&G Welding provides farm equipment welding repair for cracked frames, brackets, mounts, gates, trailers, tractor attachments, implements, and other steel components on farms across the service area.
Mobile service reduces transport problems for large equipment. Photos of the full machine and damaged area help identify access, steel thickness, contamination, and reinforcement needs.
Describe the implement and the damaged steel
For a tractor attachment, implement, bush-hog or mower deck, send a full photograph and close-ups of the cracked frame, deck, bracket or mounting point. Include the make and model if available, plus views of the other side of the connection. Tell K&G Welding whether the part is attached to the machine or can be brought to the Piedmont shop.
Photos of the surrounding steel help show wear, corrosion and older repairs. Include material thickness if known and describe any replacement parts you already have. A request is reviewed around the condition of the steel and the intended use; reinforcement is not automatically the right answer for every damaged component.
Plan access for a mobile welding visit
Send the exact farm entrance and where the equipment is located on the property. Note narrow gates, soft ground, overhead restrictions and how close the welding truck can get. A wide photograph of the work area is useful when the equipment is in a field or away from the main entrance.
Include your target work window and whether the equipment can be moved. K&G Welding reviews site access and setup before confirming the job. Urgent and after-hours work depends on availability; contact K&G Welding to discuss the situation rather than assuming an immediate visit.
Farm steel work from the Piedmont base
Farm requests can include agricultural equipment, implement frames, steel gates, trailers and damaged brackets. The service is steel welding and fabrication, not hydraulic, engine or electrical repair. K&G Welding does not weld aluminum.
Piedmont is the only physical shop. Transportable steel items can be reviewed for shop service with a $75 minimum and an arranged drop-off. The $200 local mobile minimum includes normal approved-area travel and setup; extended-distance Alabama jobs are considered with travel and setup included in the individual quote.

Sometimes. The work area must be accessible, stable, and safe from fire hazards. Send the location and site photos for review.
Can worn steel be reinforced?
Many components can be repaired or reinforced, but severely thin or fatigued steel may need replacement.
What is the mobile minimum?
The normal mobile minimum is $200 including travel and setup within the regular service area.
