K&G Welding handles trailer frames, tongues and brackets; farm, landscaping and construction equipment; commercial and structural steel repairs; gates and fences; and custom steel fabrication. Homeowners, farms, businesses, contractors and property managers can send photos so the actual steel work can be reviewed.
What areas do you serve for mobile welding?
K&G Welding travels from Piedmont, Alabama and considers mobile steel welding jobs throughout the state, along with selected Georgia service areas. Send the exact job location to confirm availability. Extended-distance travel and setup are included in the individual quote. The only physical shop is in Piedmont.
What does mobile welding cost?
The local mobile minimum is $150, including normal travel and setup within the approved service area. The full quote depends on the steel repair or fabrication, materials, access and setup. Farther jobs are quoted individually; the local minimum does not cover every Alabama or Georgia trip.
Can I bring a small welding repair to the Piedmont shop?
Yes. Transportable steel repairs can be considered at the Piedmont shop, with a $60 minimum. Send photos first and arrange a drop-off with K&G Welding after the project is reviewed. Shop customers do not need to enter a mobile job address on the quote form.
What should I send to request a welding quote?
Send a view of the whole item, close-ups of the damaged steel from several angles, a short description and measurements or steel thickness if known. Include the exact location for mobile work. Custom fabrication customers can send dimensions, quantities, drawings or sketches; reference photos are optional for fabrication.
Can you help with urgent or after-hours welding?
Call K&G Welding at 205-725-4779 and send photos with the exact location to check current availability. Urgent and after-hours steel repairs depend on the schedule, travel, site access and condition of the steel. Same-day service and emergency arrival times are not guaranteed.
Do you weld aluminum?
No. K&G Welding provides steel welding and does not offer aluminum welding. If you are unsure what the damaged part is made from, send photographs and any material information before arranging the work.
